"A Room with a View", East Bay Waterfront w/pool

A perfect place for a couple’s getaway! We were there in the winter but would love to make another trip in the summer. The hosts were very responsive and we especially appreciated their flexibility when we had to reschedule our trip because of a family emergency.

The room is amazing! and the view as well especially on sunset! Host thought of every detail and the place has a great vibe! Fully equipped with everything you need in the kitchen in the bedroom too! Perfectly clean! We loved our stay! Definitely will go back again!

The place was very nice and homey. The only suggestion i have is to ask the cleaning crew not to leave their clean carts outside our door all day long.

This was my family's first visit to Traverse City. We were very excited based on the photos we saw of Kara's condo. Once we arrived, everything inside was as advertised-clean and updated with great attention to detail. It had everything we needed and more. We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning watching the sun rise over the lake. The beach in front of the condo was extremely clean and not crowded. We also enjoyed the pool. Kara was a perfect host who responded quickly to the few messages I sent her. We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back to Traverse City!

Our family was thrilled with ‘the room with the view’!! It’s exactly as pictured: spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, well-outfitted, brand new, and with amazing views of the water from your own patio. We loved running out on to the sand every morning for a swim in the lake before breakfast. We also enjoyed the heated pool in the resort. Every amenity you can think of is available for a comfortable and luxe stay - excellent soaps, shampoo, lotion, extra blankets and bedding, beach toys for the kids and even hair ties are provided. Kara left us so many thoughtful touches like the GF/vegan cupcakes and the lovely bottle of wine on our arrival. We loved the location. Super family-friendly with lots of kid-friendly activities nearby. The only con I would say is, it was a little tight on space for our family of four (with an infant under one). We used the pull-out couch and it worked out fine, but something to note if your party is more than two people.

A room with a view was an immaculately cared for place. Everything was clean and of good quality. The place smelled nice and had everything we needed. The balcony has a great view of the beach and sunsets. The beach was a great place to swim, paddle and float. We only stayed 2 nights and certainly could have stayed much longer.

Will book with them again! Clean, looked exactly like the photos and super friendly responsive hosts! Also, try the restaurants in their recommendations! I have been coming to TC since I was a kid and tried some new spots that were spot on!

Perfect for a couple or 2-3 girlfriends. Everything was super clean and comfortable. The balcony with wine, listening to the lake was a whole vibe. Loved it

The place was beautifully decorated and immaculate. The view from the balcony was amazing, especially at sunset. The beach was well maintained and never crowded, and there were plenty of chairs and beach lounge chairs. There were two fire pits on the beach where we made s’mores and watched the sunset. Kara was very responsive and made some great recommendations on where to eat in town and even which places took reservations. She also had a detailed info guide which listed everything you could could want to know. The location is ideal since it is right on the beach and has a heated pool but is still a short drive into town with lots of great restaurants and cute shops. The place was stocked with tons of amenities like shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, hair ties, band aids, Q tips, a nice selection of Keurig coffee pods and creamers, plates, utensils, coffee mugs, glasses, a small dishwasher, paper towels, swim towels and a swim bag.

We truly enjoyed our stay!! It was exactly what we needed. Looking forward to staying again. Thank you

If you're planning on visiting the Traverse city area, stay here! We came to Traverse city for a friend's wedding and happened to fall in love with this Airbnb! We even added another day to our trip. The condo is very modern yet cozy, extremely clean and the view from the room is just beautiful! We got to enjoy the lake and swim in the pool during our stay. We had so much fun, we would love to visit again!

Beautiful, relaxing get away. Communication was great and easy to access the condo code. Clean and the condo had everything needed for a short stay.

This is a beautifully designed condo with killer views of the bay! Everything was perfect. The location is very convenient to downtown and the beach was very nice as well. The condo was also one of the cleanest we’ve been to. The owner was super responsive and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Traverse City!

Had a great stay and experience! The place was very clean and the view was beautiful! Only complaint would have to be the upstairs neighbor they were quite loud at times with walking around - you could hear them. Overall though great experience and would stay again!

This place was so cozy and comfortable. It felt more like a home than a rental. I loved the decor and the many plants. Sitting out on the patio was great too. Highly recommend.

The condo was immaculate and decorated to make you feel at home. Products in the home were high end and we loved the Almond body butter after a shower. The shower was wonderful, especially because it had a seat in there. They provided everything you could think of right down to the bug spray. My husband loved the comfort of the bed and he isn’t easy to please. We enjoyed our mornings and evenings on the balcony in the comfort of the comfy patio furniture. Owners were always very quick to respond to any questions we may of had. If we vacation again in Traverse City, A Room With a View will be our first choice! Thank you so much, Mark & Michele

Beautiful place to make lifelong memories!

This was an absolutely charming and comfortable place to stay for a few days in TC area. The view, of course, was the main attraction. The space was really comfortable, including a beautiful new bathroom. I didn't expect to love the shower so much! The host was easy to communicate with and I would certainly look at this place again.

The most perfect place to stay for our TC trip!! Super close to downtown & so peaceful! The space was beautifully decorated and clean. Loved sitting out on the balcony at night to see the stars! Hosts were so friendly and left clear, easy instructions! Will definitely recommend and stay here again!

The waterfront location was spectacular! Coffee and breakfast on the balcony overlooking the water was a great way to start the day. Quiet evenings along the bay were perfect. What a view! This was a beautiful place and wonderful location. Perfect for the family and kid friendly. Our host even included sand toys and our kids had a great time at the beach. The beach was cleaned daily, a central location closed to downtown and private space to the beach.

The hosts were incredible about rescheduling for us when we had an emergency. Due to my groups own error, we didn’t realize that it was a studio even though it was mentioned multiple times in the description, so we were nervous about that as we had 4 women in our trip. It actually ended up being totally fine! There was more than enough space and truly the aesthetic of the place makes everything worth it. Everything we needed, the hosts provided. It was very clean and the view was stellar. We had no issues with noise or really anything at all. The only thing I didn’t give 5 star was the price, but for traverse city you aren’t getting much cheaper and if you are the place won’t be nearly as gorgeously decorated. Overall, would definitely book again. Thanks for everything!

We had a great time at the Room with a View. It was right on the bay and close to everything we wanted to do. The place was immaculate and the hosts were extremely responsive.

We loved our stay here! Everything was clean, nicely updated and the area had lots to do. Only a short drive to downtown TC. The views were beautiful with easy access to the lake. Would love to stay again!

A lovely condo that gave us a very nice stay. Great location, great amenities in the room, especially the great shower! We appreciated the quality towels and linens as well.

Beautifully and elegantly decorated room, high quality cabinets, fixtures. Clean, bright and well-lit with anything you might need. Location is perfect for seeing the local sights in Traverse City and surrounding areas. Lovely balcony with seating to enjoy the beach and waterfront. Beach is clean, sandy and well-maintained.
