Home on West Bay in the heart of wine country!

This house is BEAUTIFUL! The entire home was clean and felt like I was right at home. Kara thought of all of the little things we may have forgotten during our visit. My absolute favorite was the QR codes of instructions on how to use the coffee pot, thermostat, and more. I would absolutely stay here again.

The house is even better than the pictures, looked like a Pinterest board. We had such a pleasant experience, we will be back😊

We had a family wedding and had all ages staying with us. The grandkids loved the toy closet and books, we loved the convenient location and amenities, including albums with record player! They had everything we needed, beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable! Kara was great and very accommodating!

You will not regret staying at Kara’s beautiful lake front rental. It’s the perfect size and the view cannot be beat. Spotless and sparkling clean! She had every amenity you could think of (toys and books for kids, fully stocked kitchen, pack n play, etc). She even left us a lovely gift basket! This is a great location for exploring the peninsula and downtown Traverse City. Wish we could come back for a stay in the summer!!

Wonderful place to stay while checking out Suttons Bay! Very family friendly.

This was my family’s (three adult couples) fourth time staying in one of Kara’s properties and our second time staying in this house. What a beautiful home and location with an amazing view of the water! Kara is a great host who has planned for everything and our stay could not have gone smoother. She even left us a welcome gift of some local treats! The house is close to several cideries/wineries in Sutton’s Bay and just a short drive into Traverse City. It was centrally located to all of the hustle and bustle of the area while remaining quiet and peaceful. We look forward to staying here again!

The house was straight out of a catalog. Each room was thoughtfully put together and they left behind items that represented northern Michigan and gave great area recommendations. We really enjoyed the games in the living room! Kara was an amazing host and very responsive. 5 stars, would definitely stay here again!

Kara was an amazing host and the house was amazing. I would recommend this to everyone but especially families. We have two under two and this was a perfect house for our family.

I knew it was on M22 just a reminder others looking for a place that the traffic noise is very prevalent. We absolutely loved the view! Amazing

Kara’s place was so thoughtfully put together and furnished. We had pretty much everything we needed and it was so comfortable and nice. I especially appreciated all the stuff for our little ones-pack and play, high chair, sound machine, toys, books, dishes, everything! We had a great stay!

I stayed with my family for 4 nights and we had the best time. We came for the Bayshore (half) marathon and Kara was so welcoming and even left a welcome basket filled with everything a runner needs while traveling to a race! But this was also a family vacation and it was so kid friendly. My kids loved the toy closet and I enjoyed not having to bring a highchair or pack and play. This is the nicest AirBNB I’ve ever stayed in and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Everything was beautiful and I took pictures of some of my favorite items in the hope I can find it for my own house. I highly recommend and want to thank Kara again for a truly fantastic stay.

Great location, beautiful view of the bay, nicely furnished home with everything a family would need for a wonderful vacation. Our three year old grandson thoroughly enjoyed the toy closet and had fun running and playing in the fenced in backyard. The beach was 5 min away and sand toys and beach chairs provided. We were very impressed with this home and our host. Can’t wait to return!

We had a great experience at Kara’s Two Bay Stay for our summer MI trip. She was quick and responsive to all of our requests. She provided helpful information in locating the house with photos. She listed her area recommendations (food, drink, things to do) on Airbnb and provided a handbook at the house. We arrived to the home with a thoughtful gift of cherry jam, chocolates, and soda. Home was very clean, cozy, and comfortable for our group of 8. It was great Kara had kids toys for inside and outside. The large yard was really nice for the kids to run around and make s’mores at night. We even saw some deer one morning. We would definitely stay here again the next time we come.

The house is in a perfect spot to explore the area and looks just like the photos! We did not cook at home much but kitchen is great if you wanted to eat in. Loved being close to the bike trail and bahle farm golf course! The view can’t be beat!!

This is a lovely home that is nicely decorated with a well stocked kitchen. Our family really enjoyed our stay. We were in the area for a wedding at Ciccone's. This home is very close which made it the perfect location for the occasion.

Excellent home rental for October to see the Fall colors. Amenities were abundant and loved all the little considerations. Would stay here again, used a taxi service vs Uber to go to Traverse City.

Kara’s place was perfect for our family of four (including a 1.5 month old). We didn’t have to pack nearly as much because the house has a toy closet, book shelf, pack and play, etc. She also had great suggestions for family friendly hikes, breweries, etc. Great location, would love to return in the future.

What a great place to stay! We loved the sunrise view every morning and all the super cute decor in the house! Kitchen had everything we needed and the hosts provided LOADS of info about the surrounding area and attractions! Location was great to explore both the Leelanau Peninsula and Traverse City!

What a view! Very well stocked and accommodated. Appreciate the use of the garage, washer/dryer, and fully stocked kitchen. Also enjoyed the toys and the great wifi/smart TV. Our family used this location on a Holiday Weekend making use of the rare opportunity of a weekend with no children's activities as well as extended family plans. Used the house as a base of operations to visit Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore and Leelanau State Park. Wake up early and enjoy a sunrise over Sutton's Bay!

The home has a beautiful view of the water. The home was clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was great for both Traverse City and Sutton’s Bay. The owner answered my questions promptly. I would definitely recommend staying here. Our group was five adults. It would work well for a family with children too. Book with confidence!

Beautiful home, clean, lots of games, pristine bathroom and kitchen. Kara was easy to communicate with. Easy checkin and checkout. The whole part that I traveled with love the area, views and the house.

We had a great time. Everything was well labeled and QR code were present for instructions on how to use electronics. The beds were comfortable even the pull out couch. There is some traffic on 72 but there are plenty of great views.

A great place for a quick family trip. The 5 of us fit comfortably and loved waking up to the views of the lake. On a busy road but was not a problem for us.

We really enjoyed our stay. Brought my in-laws from New York to experience northern Michigan and they fell in love. The house was perfect for kids and elderly. Beds were very cozy too. Thank you for being a great host.

Very well done rental with attention paid to every detail. It's only drawback is the busy road, but inside it's quiet and the orientation toward the expansive and "well attired" backyard more than makes up for it. The view of the bay in front is go for the soul and takes your breath away.

Everything we needed

We stayed for a week and a half in this nicely appointed house, and it was great to have so many toys, books, and baby paraphernalia supplied for our 1.5-year-old. The house is well situated for reaching many beaches and hikes and a few charming towns and also a relaxing place to return to after exploring all day. There’s a great view of the sunrise right out front too. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and the hosts are generous with amenities as well as responsive and helpful.

I can’t say enough good things about this entire stay. The house was absolutely immaculate, and very welcoming. Kara was responsive, attentive, and super helpful. Our stay and experience could not have been better. We absolutely would recommend anyone book with her, and we definitely will in the future!

Kara’s place was awesome! My family loved the house and yard. It had all the amenities and features to make us feel at home! The location is perfect and only a few minutes from the beach and downtown Suttons Bay. We managed to visit all our favorite places in the area from Northport, Traverse City, Leland, and Maple each about 20 minutes away. Tons of beaches, breweries, wineries, and golf to keep you busy. I will look to book again!

Fenced in backyard allowed for a water view from the home but kept our toddler safe when we went outside! Lots of things were provided such as laundry detergent, wipes, soap, beach towels, etc. Downtown Suttons Bay was only a 6 minute drive for boutique shopping and a good winery only 3 minutes away. Kara was very responsive to messages and always very friendly. I would recommend.

This home could not have been more perfect! My parents, kids (15&19), and I loved it. It’s exactly as described. Very clean, beautifully decorated, and the thoughtfulness put into every detail made it easy to find everything you needed. I loved how everything was labeled, organized, and the QR codes helped so much in figuring out how to work certain items. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again. The view from the front room is beautiful and the location was away enough from the hustle bustle of downtown Traverse City. The backyard (we didn’t get a chance to use) looked so cute and was well equipped for a relaxing evening under the stars. LOVE LOVE LOVE ❤️

Beautiful home! Lots of extra touches make this a fantastic place to stay in Sutton’s Bay. The view is exceptionally lovely. Kara and the team are very responsive and friendly! Although it is off the main road, from inside traffic noise wasn’t an issue. Just a few miles drive from Sutton’s Bay Beach. A nice little beach with a playground set. Lots quaint stores along the beach town as well!

After a horrific stay at an Inn in TC, Kara and Alexa did more than help in turning our vacation frowns upside down. We booked this immaculate home last minute as we had to abruptly change our stay plans, as the Inn we were previously staying at was infested with Spiders. Alexa went out of her way to make sure our updated stay was spectacular. As stated above, the house was immaculate, fully stocked with anything and everything. Our 3 year old son LOVED the "toy" closet and all the children's books. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated. There's QR code instructions on how to use everything from the coffee maker to the TV. Even the light switches were labeled as to what turns on what. There were plenty of recommendations on local things to do, wineries, restaurants, etc. the view from the front dining room of the lake is beautiful especially for morning breakfast. Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Will definitely be back!

Wow! What a perfect house for a couple, family with small children, or even two small families to stay at and see everything along M22 or TC! We went for a quick getaway without our toddlers but as soon as we walked into the house wished we would have brought them with us! There were so many thoughtful touches for a family with babies and small children from a wall of board books, a closet full of toys, a high chair and pack & play, and even a tub of child safety locks! In the backyard there was even a small swing set and playhouse. There was also a nice back patio with a table and a great TV setup and board games for the adults! It was an obviously freshly remodeled place, tastefully furnished, and extremely clean. Kara was super responsive whenever I would message a question-she would typically respond right away! We would definitely go back again!
