Beautiful cottage with breathtaking views! We had a great time staying in Suttons Bay!

I stayed here for a week with my family and loved every minute of it. The house was well stocked and the atmosphere was beautiful.

Very relaxing stay. Love that deck. Spent most of our time just relaxing on the water.

My husband and I can’t possibly say enough great things about our stay at Bayshore Boathouse. The lake house was cozy, bad gorgeous views, and the attention to detail (even down to the ponytail holders, which I actually forgot!) was so much appreciated. Having come up during an unexpected blizzard, we cozied up in front of the fireplace and did take out from many of the local restaurant recommendations left in the welcome book (highly recommend Mama Lu’s and The Burrow!). Even with all the snow, we were still able to sneak down to the water each day and found some Petoskey stones to take home. We only wish we had been able to stay longer. Kara and the hosts were wonder, and so quick to answer any questions we had. Kara had some fantastic winery recommendations, and we hope to get back up ASAP when we’re not snowed in to visit them! We fell in love with Bayshore Boathouse, and we hope you will too! Can’t wait to book again, soon!!

this place was perfect for our winter family getaway! we spent a long weekend in the cozy cabin with the fireplace on. would definitely recommend. the location is perfect for Sutton's Bay or traverse city exploring. we would love to come back in the summer!

Our family needed a change of scenery so we booked Kara's place in anticipation of the beautiful lake views. The cabin/boat house is super cute and clean. Kara has ALL the necessities you might need like coffee (we loved the Dunkin Donut one in particular), sleep masks, makeup remover towels, books, games, etc. We appreciated it all! The views were amazing and I can only imagine how much better it would be to stay in the summer when you can enjoy the location more. We ended up checking out early due to the weather (lots of snow and wind) and a teething baby. I would absolutely recommend this special spot but one thing to keep in mind is that there is only ONE bathroom! Haha Thank you for a lovely and comfortable stay Kara!

I planned my sisters bachelorette weekend at this airbnb and it did not disappoint! The house is cozy, stylish, and the views from the upstairs bedroom are to die for! You wake right up to the sunrise over the water. Even in snowy mid march this was a great place to stay, I'd love to return in the summer months too!

My wife and I stayed the weekend and loved the house. Super cozy and great for a little vacation. There was plenty of supplies around the house. The view of the water can be seen anywhere in the house. Parks are all over the place to visit for a hike. There’s also a bunch of restaurants & cafe’s near the house to choose from.

This place is perfect, it’s comfortable, clean and gorgeous. Being right on the water is such a luxury. You won’t regret staying here!

Our weekend stay was terrific! Peaceful, fun, and yet close enough to restaurants and what we needed. It was a great place to come Back to after a big hike and to wake up facing the water was a treat.

This house is a dream come true! Beautiful views, stunning architecture, and cozy interior. Kara is hands down the most thoughtful, practical host I’ve encountered. She thought of everything to make us feel right at home - comfy blankets, sleep masks, soaps for the shower, books, puzzles, and games galore. Can’t wait to go back!

Spectacular view from deck! The deck was the selling point. Small sandy beach, rocky part too: kids were skipping rocks on water. lots of bird wildlife. The place was clean and had all amenities. Only drawback was lock was tricky to get into place. It was electronic punch code: it would be helpful to list in instructions: when hit last button: hold your finger on button. For 3 seconds until lock dis-engages. I was punching in a code didn’t realize when punched last u have to hold it on there. But host was responsive after called in to ask why wouldn’t unlock. We very much enjoyed our weekend there. Good family retreat! Kids especially enjoyed it and I loved sipping coffee each am on deck. Thank you.

Kara was an absolutely wonderful host! She was responsive from the get-go. We booked her house over a year ago, and she was helpful from the start. We hosted a family reunion in Suttons Bay, and Kara helped us find lodging for our other family members. She had answers to all my questions on family friendly activities, photographer, and anything else. Kara’s home on the bay was gorgeous and just a perfect peaceful getaway. We hope to return to Suttons Bay soon!

We loved our stay at the Boathouse. It was cozy and had everything we needed. It is a great location. Kara was very helpful when we asked questions. She has a great guide to the house and area. We hope to make it back there again one day.

Unique little cottage that's the perfect size for a family of four. Fantastic back deck and dock. We really enjoyed our time at the Boat House.

We loved our time here! The house is very well stocked with towels, soaps, linens, etc. The outside spaces are amazing and are worth the price!

If you love a good long boat dock into a blue lake then this is the place for you. We spent so much time on the dock, floating on rafts, having evening cocktails on the deck and making s’mores in the fire pit. The views from the master bedroom are all water!

I stayed here for just under a week in July 2023 and had a great time! I have been wanting to stay here since October 2022. Kara paid extra attention to detail, which made it feel very homey. It was the right size for my friend and I. While the boathouse is on M-22 which can be a bit noisy, Kara provides ear plugs and eye masks if needed. I didn't think the noise was overly burdensome and you can barely hear it from the dock. I loved being able to wake up and have my coffee on either the deck or dock. The boathouse is close to Traverse, Leland and Sutton's Bay so you can easily get to everything Northern Michigan has to offer. Kara was a great host and very quick to respond to messages. Check In was easy and the house was very clean. The checkout was also not burdensome like many AirBnBs can be.

Our third visit to this place and cannot say enough good things! Great location, amazing views! My boys loved jumping off the doc to swim and we rented paddle boards and kayaks for on the water. Place was clean and had everything we needed. They thought of everything.

A professional had to do the decorating. It looked like something right out of a designer magazine! The little details really made it so memorable for me. The vcr, the collection of magazines, movies, books, and board games were radical. The telescope in the upstairs room was magical! The dock, private beach, and deck overlooking the bay was truly astonishing and invigorating.

Our family of 4 loved staying here. The views are beautiful and there were a lot more amenities than we’ve had at other Airbnbs. Everything was as described and the hosts were very responsive.

We had a wonderful stay at Bayshore Boathouse! We loved waking up to the gorgeous lake views and sipping coffee on the deck! Our kiddos played for hours in the sand and water. The old school Disney movies were also a hit! The location was perfect for trips to the many lighthouses and beaches. We were grateful for all of Kara’s local recommendations! Looking forward to visiting again soon :)

This place was amazing. We built so many special memories hanging out on the deck and around the water. Highly recommend. One thing to keep in mind, there are no curtains in the upstairs bedroom (I understand why, the aesthetic is so beautiful!) so keep that in mind. When the sunrises, you will get the light. Also, if you are traveling with a baby consider bringing a slumber pod for their pack and play to help keep it dark if they are sleeping upstairs with you. Amazing place, amazing memories made!

Two Bay Stay was the perfect place to stay for our trip up North and we absolutely loved it. I cannot recommend this amazing home away from home enough. Not only was the house outfitted with everything we could have needed or wanted, but it was also beautiful and very peaceful. We felt at home right away. We cooked dinner for ourselves in the kitchen every night. The house is really picturesque and cozy and so cute. The gas fireplace was great and we had a fun night with the outdoor fire pit making s’mores (our tip is to get fudge from Murdick’s in Suttons Bay in place of a chocolate bar for your s’mores). We had a great time exploring Traverse City, Suttons Bay, and Fishtown; we’re already planning our next trip and we are so grateful to have been able to stay at Two Bay Stay for our first trip up North.

Such a special spot! Easily accommodated our family of five for a birthday celebration. Highly recommend this spot, well-appointed with lots of thoughtful extras, right on the water.

Great place for an up north getaway. It is a little bit close to the road but the lake front location makes up for it. It is close to all of the up north attractions and we were able to fit everything into our schedule because of the location. If you are fan of architecture, the mid century modern cabin vibes are incredible. The home has everything you need. Views and and experience from the upper level is surreal. Would highly consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautifully decorated and cozy with the fireplace, comfy couches and blankets. It’s so peaceful to be right on the water. The sunrise view in the morning is incredible. The kids loved the “old fashioned” VCR and VHS tapes.

Great stay for our family!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The place was clean, thoughtfully decorated and beautiful. We were looking for a space with character and charm and we found it! Our questions were answered quickly and they have you covered for anything you might need. In the winter months it was a warm, cozy place to stay outside of town, but still close enough to enjoy T.C. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Kara was amazing!! We had a small problem that happens with winter weather. The pipes were frozen. A quick call to Kara and the problem was solved. She found another place to go to just two miles down the road. What a life savior. Twenty minutes later we in the comfort of new place. Enjoyed a beautiful weekend thanks to her. It’s a serene place with a private deck and access to lake! We enjoyed star gazing and sunsets right from the deck. Spacious and the interiors are very chique. Kara was very responsive and flexible. Thanks for hosting us. I would love to come back again!

Kara’s place was amazing! My wife and I wanted to take our first little family road trip with our 6mo old daughter and could not have been happier with our stay! The house is so cozy and being right on the water created the perfect nighttime relaxing vibes we were looking for! Being only 15 minutes away from the downtown area was a huge win and tons of great eating, shopping and adult beverages :) overall a perfect stay and will definitely be coming back! This place was fantastic. Great views. Very organized. The house manual covered all the questions that I had. They have lots of towels, which was a plus. Place was clean! The stars at night were beautiful. Highly recommend!

Great place, a little close to the road but otherwise a fun place to stay

Everything was great about the house! Super clean all the amenities, etc. The road noise being off a busy state highway was the only issue. The host can’t do much about that so can’t complain too much but feel it should be mentioned!

Truly magical. The boathouse in Suttons Bay is one of a kind. There was so much thought and attention to detail that was put into this home. From the boardgames, to the decor, to the outside seating and extras-Kara and her team really thought of it all. This place is perfect for a couples get-away or a fun-filled family vacation.
