Step out of the building and be directly on the beach! This area of East Bay offers a long stretch of beach to walk if desired. A pool is also just steps away with a hot tub to relax in after a long day exploring the area! (Pool is TYPICALLY open Memorial-October 1 ) After spending all day outside, come home to a new King bed. The room has blackout shades for those that like to sleep in. In the large family room, there is a pullout queen mattress for an additional 2 people to sleep in. Bathroom is brand new in July 2023, dual head luxury shower along with large capacity washer and dryer. Enjoy the amazing views from your private patio, with comfortable seating and a kiddo sized table if you are traveling with little ones. Family friendly: Beach towels, sunscreen, sand toys, beach quilt, books, toys, and Disney+! Parents, pack less and relax more! Central location! The condo is surrounded by multiple places to eat and drink! Walk directly across the street to Cup of Joe Coffee to start the morning or Hopscotch Tap room for a refreshing beer and meal to end the day. Just minutes to Front Street or head north east to Elk Rapids and explore this quaint town with shopping, eating, and Short Brewing! This condo is exclusively used as an Airbnb. We have stocked it with everything you should need to create an amazing stay during your time in Traverse City! Smart lock with custom code means no keys to remember and check in at your convenience. We live in Traverse City, most guests go their entire stay with no face to face interaction unless a need arrises. Please note that 3 days before check in time, we will place a temporary pre-authorization hold of $250 on your card. This hold verifies fund availability and covers potential incidental expenses during your stay. The hold will be released 7 days after check-out, pending no outstanding charges or damages. Your privacy and security are paramount, and all card information is handled confidentially.

November 2023 5.00Kara’s place was great! Check in and check were super easy and the location was great! Parking wasn’t an issue at all, it’s got a beautiful view, and is very close to downtown Traverse City. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our anniversary!
We had a great trip. Location is great close to downtown. It is a busy road with typical traffic noises but sound machine is provided. Pool is nice and heated. Beach was wonderful well maintained clear water and no rocks. Shallow depth for quite a ways out. Our kiddo slept in living room on sofa bed and worked well. Well furnished. Bed is comfortable. Shower is amazing with double shower heads. Facility is getting siding replaced and will look better when it’s done. Interior of condo is update and very clean. Easy plentiful parking. Everything was provided for easy stay. This is our third time at one of Kara’s properties she is a great host.
Amazing condo, we have been staying at these for 30 years and this was our favorite condo to date. The bathroom remodel looks amazing and was very well done!
Our stay at Kara's place was wonderful. It was more than I expected in terms of space (laundry was an excellent set-up). We had room for a blow-up mattress in the evenings so the boys could sleep separately (6 & 11). Having the pool and the lake was terrific, along with rentals on the beach for boats, jet skis, water toys, and more. We spent nearly all our time at the condo, except for a day trip to sleeping bear dunes for hiking. Restaurant wait times were long, so we did lots of take-out and dinners at the condo-which was perfect; you can not beat the view and sounds of the lake. I highly recommend staying at Kara's place; her space provides everything you need for a fantastic lake vacation.
We were looking for a relaxing getaway after a long spring and summer of baseball/softball. This was perfect. Family oriented, clean, peaceful and extremely clean. 10/10 recommend
Kara’s place was beautifully appointed. Modern, comfortable, very clean, beautiful view of the bay. The small beach out front was clean and had only a few others on it. It was quiet and peaceful. While the property was on a busy street you did not notice it from the beachfront or inside the unit. Kara was super responsive. A perfect place to spend some beach/pool time and launch other Michigan day adventures from. It was a great trip and we would definitely stay again.
Kara’s place was beautiful. The beach access and heated pool were perfect. Especially for my children! We were able to wander to town on a short drive and come back to the condo to unwind in the pool and hot tub. She even had a nice bookshelf full of books, games, and basket of toys that were an extra bonus for my girls. Very responsive to my messages!
