Beautiful home that mirrors what you see in the photos online. It’s great for a large group or multiple families. I loved the guide that the hosts shared with us as well, the amenities and toiletries they provide, and that they were very responsive. While on the end of the street near the main road, it’s tucked away in the woods and very serene and private. Would stay there again!

Well appointed beautiful house met all we asked for, modern, clean, well stocked and a river with a view. Location was an absolute plus close to the small downtown. Beautiful property, great location, wonderful home!

This is a lovely property close to Glen Haven and Sleeping Bear Dunes. It’s very close to town, but private, right on the Crystal River. It takes just a couple of minutes to get to the IGA grocery store and about ten minutes to get to the historic village and adjacent beach. We had a lot of fun watching the kayakers and paddleboarders from both porches and were inspired to paddle on down ourselves. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. We were a small family of four with our little dog in tow, but it would suite two families or an extended family nicely or anyone who may need extra space for a work-from-home situation. There was a downstairs unit with two en-suite bedrooms, living area, and full kitchen. We enjoyed the upstairs unit which had two bedrooms and a full bathroom and a really neat spiral staircase leading to a loft area. The kitchen has everything you could need and was very clean. There is air conditioning, but found that the upstairs- with the windows open - caught the lake breezes and opted for that instead. Dandan was very responsive and made arrangements very easy. If we return to Glen Haven, we’ll definitely try to stay here again.

The Dune House is beautiful and very intentionally designed for guests. They thought of everything from a full kitchen of cookware and spices to comfortable linens and beach towels. There is plenty of space to spread out. We traveled with our adult children and there were lots of beds, multiple Adirondack chairs outside and two long dining tables. It’s a beautiful and comfortable home. The house is on the river with a lovely view. It is close to a busy street which you can hear from the backyard and dock so it’s not as serenely quiet as we thought.

Excellent place!

We really enjoyed staying at this house! We came with a large family including 4 children under 3 and had an absolutely lovely stay. The river is gorgeous and the house has just about every amenity you could want. There were a lot of books and toys for the kids and both kitchens were stocked with nice appliances and dishes! We had plenty of bath towels and linens and the laundry room and detergent already there. The hosts honestly took everything into consideration. We had so much fun taking the kayaks out for a spin and sitting on the dock with the beach chairs and listening to the frogs! The only things to know are that you can hear M22 from the dock, and that two of the three bathrooms are inside the bedrooms so when babies are sleeping only one is available.

The placed was very clean. Everyone enjoyed staying there. Communication was excellent with Dandan. She explained everything before check it. Checked in was very easy.

Very much enjoyed our stay. With both an up-stairs kitchen and down stairs kitchen, the home is set up very well for two families. Had everything we expected and more. Glen Arbor of course is beautiful. Great location for anyone who loves visiting the area. Will definitley stay again on our next trip.

This place is amazing - clean, comfortable, and very well appointed. All kitchen bases are covered for having large family meals at home. We had a blast using the on-site kayaks and hanging out at the fire pit and on the river access deck watching the big fish swim by. House is a quick drive to quaint towns and outdoor adventures. We had the best time.

Fantastic place to stay for a large group in Glen Arbor! Really close to the town, the dunes and the beautiful crystal river. Communication was quick and accurate. The two kitchens on different floors is an awesome feature for large groups where folks might be getting up and making coffee and breakfast on different schedules. We didn't have great weather for our stay, and appreciated that the house was well stocked with coffee, tea, board games and blankets - made for a cozy fall adventure.

Beautiful, peaceful spot. We stayed in the winter and it was a superb cozy, family getaway. Accommodated all 10 of us very easily. Spacious yet intimate.

Dandan was an excellent host- very friendly and helpful. However we did not need much help because the house was wonderful. Two full kitchens, plenty of space to sleep, wooded and on the Crystal River. Outdoor spaces were wonderful. Only small thing is the space has 2.5 baths so that could be a little tight with a big family. However- we would totally stay here again, loved the town of Glen Arbor- lots of good restaurants and very clean.

A beautiful home right on Crystal River. Bikes rides into town and kayak excursions right off the dock were perfect for our active group!

Dandan was an incredibly proactive and friendly host who reached out multiple times before, during, and after our stay to ensure our stay was perfect. The home exceeded our expectations and we spend a cozy and relaxing week in Glen Arbor. We took advantage of the kayaks and the outdoor fire pit and enjoyed the fall weather to the fullest. The home was very clean, well appointed, and felt like home. We would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to come back again!

This was a spur if the moment decision and a great one. Absolutely perfect location. Very nice property with plenty of space for everyone. My son, daughter, and grandkids loved the river access and was able to drop a kayak in the water for some quiet time. It is very convenient to Glen Arbo and other attractions close by. We enjoyed ourselves. The House was nicely equipped and clean. We would book again and certainly enjoyed the week. Until next time...hope everyone enjoys as much as we did. This was a great little spot for our family members to vacation. My kids loved wading in the river and looking for wildlife. The backyard was a little overgrown but otherwise matched photos.

We had a lovely visit. The house is in a beautiful spot on the river, and very convenient to Glen Arbor. As some other reviewers have noted, it is close to the road so it's not completely quiet, but it is not very noticeable. The hosts did a great job stocking the place and providing information about local attractions and restaurants. My kids loved the loft!

We had an amazing stay here! The house was exactly as listed. Very spacious and a great location. Everything was very clean, too. We had so much fun canoeing and tubing in the river! Would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

Truly, I cannot say enough good things about this home. The two living areas worked so well for our families. The location on the river was so incredibly wonderful. We are so hopeful to continue coming back. For us, the price was worth it. The location is prime, and again, the space is hard to beat.

This home is perfect in every single way. Starting from, easy check in, beautiful decor, every room and bed was so comfortable, all baby necessities in aka, pack n’play high chairs, both kitchens fully stocked down to every necessary pots and pans, to every appliance, dining areas were so lovely for our family meals. The home in general was so accommodating, well thought out with every bathroom essentials, towels, and beach towels. The outdoor fireplace, kayaks, the direct access to Crystal River was a huge hit for the kids. And lastly the most accommodating, lovely Dandan was so wonderful and went above and beyond. Thank you Dandan! Your are amazing. This place is A+!

Our group enjoyed this home for our one-night stay after a competing in a 24 hour running relay. We were able to relax and sleep comfortably. Some of us took advantage of the fire pit and kayaks while others enjoyed exploring the nearby town. Everything was comfortable and easy!

We really loved our stay here! At first we were a bit confused by the bi-level layout, but settled in just fine. The spot on the water is perfect and the provided kayaks were a great bonus. It is by the road but that didn’t bother us at all as there was very little traffic. The sun sets perfectly on the dock to enjoy the afternoons, we’d love to come back!

Dandan's home was perfect for our 10-person family gathering. It was spacious, with multiple living rooms and kitchens for us to spread out over. The views of the river are enchanting, and we instantly felt at home at the property and very peaceful in the gorgeous Glen Arbor area. We highly recommend this to any large group, and expect that we will return again soon! Dandan was a very attentive and flexible host who was happy to help when we needed to add a dog to our reservation after our initial booking. She and her team were very communicative and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay! The location is perfect and the spot right on the river was so nice. Also, the reading nook upstairs was so cozy and a personal favorite!

Best place to stay in Glen Arbor! Great amenities and plenty of things to do!

The house was really nice and was set up to host guests. It felt more like a hotel room than someone's house. Tons of cutlery and plates. They even included toothbrushes. The property has an amazing firepit and grill, and Dandan even provided firewood and a firestarter.

This home in Glen Arbor is exactly what Airbnb homes used to be like and should be like! It came fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, etc (if you need it or forgot it). Kitchen was stocked with all the supplies, including a crockpot and all cooking spices. The house was very comfortable and super clean. We felt right at home. The river is beautiful and though we didn’t fish this time around, we saw some huuuuge fish swim by. It’s truly an excellent location and the host was very responsive and accommodating. We especially loved the fireplace and wide-open feel of the second floor. We were very pleased with our stay!

The house was amazing for 14 people, everyone had place to sleep. The house itself was beautiful and the interior was clean and well maintained and decorated, everything like on the picture. Will recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in beautiful house for the weekend.

amazing location with plenty of space for my large family. happy to see there weren't a lot of cleaning instructions like at other airbnbs. Hosts frequently checked in and were fast to respond with questions. the river is shallow and nice to wade in, water was comfortable and my family enjoyed using the kayaks. Nice wildlife nearby as well.

This was a great location for a getaway. The home was well maintained and very clean. This is tastefully designed and had great little seating areas. I loved that we had access to kayaks. We chose to paddle upstream to the road and then back. Very close to the cute town and easy access to Sleeping Bear dunes. We would have stayed another night if it was available.

This was our first trip to Glen Arbor and we had a great time. The house was close to all we needed, well appointed and very clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable and it was easy to find quiet spaces to rest. Loved it!

House accommodated a large family reunion reunion very well! Just a few difficulties to work around — not adequate bathrooms & access through bedrooms was awkward/not ideal. A planned road closure on day of departure for some of our guests was also terribly inconvenient. The location, the living room & patio spaces, two fully operational kitchens was a HUGE Bonus!

We loved staying at this well-equipped adorable house on the crystal river. The location is perfect and close to town and there is a ton of outdoor space. We loved every minute in this great space!

The property mgt was good and proactive. The place was nice-ish and spacious, the upstairs and loft were cool. Glen Arbor is a cool very small town, and close to a lot of fun things as well. The house had a couple areas that had a musty/moldy smell, we had to buy air fresheners. The back patio and deck were a little cluttered with boxes / bags. many window screens around the entire house were ripped. I did not care for the bright green mini trash dumpster in the front of the house. from the ad, the picture of The house over the river is likely a bit old as the water in front of the house was covered in old leaves and other gook, I did not really want to stick my feet in that. No TV on the first floor. The kayaks were on the small side, I am 215 lbs and was nearly sinking the kayak. All in all it was okay, but I don't think it is quite worth the money they are asking. Though, I suppose, one could make the argument that of all of the beds make it worth it.

The location and house are beautiful with lots to do around Glen Arbor.

The house had a nice set-up, linens, close to town and pretty location. Things to note: It is near a recycling center so you will hear bottles and glass breaking at all hours. There is no AC in the second king bedroom downstairs as stated in description. It was very musty when we got there. They did not send anyone out to check on the problem. We had to remediate the mildew/ mustiness ourselves. The property management did reimburse us for supplies but we did lose a day of vacation to asthma attacks, headaches and time spent driving around Traverse City looking for a fogger. At first, they said it was from a carpet cleaning the week before but then stated it was because it is near the river and an older home. If you have allergies or asthma be careful with this home.

What a beautiful place on the river! Peaceful with many places to relax,… the porches, comfortable upstairs area with a beautiful fireplace…We enjoyed watching the kayakers float by on the docks, and taking out the 4 kayaks provided. This beautiful home is perfect for several families, with two kitchens that are well stocked, a grill, two family rooms to relax, and multiple bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and bed linens. The decor is lovely and everything is just as the pictures show. Lots of wildlife to enjoy, and the communication with the host is excellent. We will definitely return to this river oasis! Five Stars!!

We had a a very nice stay. The house is beautiful and has a ton of great amenities. We enjoyed the grill, fire pit, kayaks, and comfortable atmosphere. It is a good location with an easy drive to town. Very dog friendly. We also used the grocery service which was excellent. It is certainly an older house and could use some updating to match the price. We struggled with an odor in the kitchen sink during our stay. We reached out to the management team and they were very prompt and tried to help remedy the situation. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get to the bottom of it during our stay. I am sure they will look into and have it fixed for the next guests.
